Fall Sports Practices Start

It’s the middle of August and it’s that time of year – fall practices. Vermont starts their practices this week and New York starts next Monday. If you are a fall athlete and you did not do some conditioning over the summer, good luck with that.

However, to avoid some of the common early season issues (shin splints, sore knees, strained hip flexors and hamstrings, etc), remember to warm up properly!!!

An active stretching program before practice and static stretches at the end. Don’t let little problems turn into nagging issues which are still with you when the games start.
